FC Abbeymeads have successfully gained a grant from the english FAs ‘Grow the Game’ initiative.
The fund allows local football teams to expand and provide new teams for girls and as a result the we are now forming a team to play at Under 14’s level.
Clint Ricketts, FC Abbeymeads chairman, commented “As a club, we have been trying to increase participation for some time. We will now have two girls teams running next season“.
