Dear all coaches, players, parents, spectators, and other participants,
As per yesterday’s FA announcement, effective Thursday 24th September, football clubs must now display NHS COVID-19 Track & Trace Posters for participants or parents to scan as they enter.
In following this guidance, we will display these as of Wednesday 23rd September in the evening. We will place one on each entrance to the playing fields. We will also display a poster on the front of a container door, front of the toilet doors and if possible (pending council approval) on the tree near the far end of the playing fields. This way we have good coverage and can prevent crowding around 1 specific poster. You will need to download the NHS Track & Trace app and using the FA email guidance below you can access instructions of how to access, set up and use the app. FC Abbey Meads have no access to data on this app and is held by the NHS.
We ask you actively engage in the use of these, as a club we will then be doing our bit to avoid another lockdown. We would also ask that you inform the opposition of the location of these and that they scan these prior to entering the pitch so the NHS Track & Trace team will be able to do their bit if required. As well as this we ask you continue to follow the use of the Football Activity Consent Forms prior to attending training or a match.
