From Chris Dean to all parents/carers of FC Abbeymeads players:
You are all aware that we have been hit with exceptional circumstances which is impacting on the club’s activities but more importantly impacts on all of us.
Currently the FA & County FA have asked for all Grassroots football matches & training to stop.
We also know many of you played hardly any matches since Christmas due to the bad weather as well.
Despite this our fixed costs remain in place & invoices are still arriving, mainly for pitch fees with the council & winter training costs for 3G pitch hire.
We all need to stick together right now through the next four to six weeks and we urge for your continued support by not stopping any monthly fees at this time.
Should our club’s income become reduced this will place us at financial risk.
For those paying via Match Day App we still need payment for March, April & May, the few that still pay via standing order March, April, May, June & July will be owed.
Our club costs during the winter months exceed our income & we need payment during the spring & early summer to keep the club alive.
We are also open to the fact that some families incomes maybe negatively impacted.
If you are unfortunate enough to be effected in this way please speak with your team’s coach before taking any action.
If you decide to stop payments without relaying this to the club, then the club will de-register the player(s) and we will not be able to guarantee they can play should the leagues re-start.
Finally please keep safe and we hope to see you again shortly when we are able to restart, if you have any questions please do get in touch.
Kind Regards
Chris Dean
